Reynoldsville, PA resident sentenced to 60 months in prison for violating federal narcotics and firearms laws

December 27, 2023 — A resident of Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced in federal court to 60 months of imprisonment followed by three years of supervised release on her convictions for violating federal narcotics and firearms laws related to a nine-month Title III wiretap investigation into drug trafficking in and around the counties of Jefferson, Clearfield, and Allegheny, United States Attorney Eric G. Olshan announced today.

May 21, 2024 — Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, today announced that Wilson Guzman, Jr. of Milford, pleaded guilty yesterday before U.S. District Judge Sarala V. Nagala in Hartford to a fentanyl trafficking offense.

Dominican national sentenced to federal prison, to be deported for trafficking fentanyl, stealing hundreds of individuals’ personal information, and defrauding the government

June 3, 2025 — A Dominican national illegally present in the United States who trafficked fentanyl, was found to be in possession of stolen personal identifying information of nearly a thousand individuals, and filed hundreds of fraudulent tax returns to obtain tens of thousands of dollars in COVID related tax credit payments has been sentenced to four years in federal prison, announced Acting United States Attorney Sara Miron Bloom.

Two partners of Westchester accounting firm plead guilty to tax fraud conspiracy

June 5, 2024 — Damian Williams, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and Thomas M. Fattorusso, the Special Agent in Charge of the New York Field Office of the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation (“IRS-CI”), announced that George Sanossian and Jack N. Sardis pled guilty to conspiracy to defraud the IRS, on May 29 and June 5, 2024, respectively, in White Plains federal court. Sanossian’s sentencing before U.S. District Judge Cathy Seibel is scheduled for September 24, 2024. Sardis’s sentencing before U.S. District Judge Nelson S. Román is scheduled for September 26, 2024.
